Throughout the year you can taste excellent truffle, to which is dedicated the Fair of White Truffle in the month of October, which has become national since 2013. As a drink, cannot miss a glass of Pergola DOC, a wine of ancient origins which in 2005 gained the registered designation of origin in its versions of red wine, young wine and passito. During the last weekend of July takes place in the historical centre of the town the Wine Festival with tastings, open cellars, entertainment, music and lots of fun. Another typical local product is Vino di Visciole (Sour Cherry Wine), also known as Visner, Visciolì or Visciolata. During the days before the Immaculate Conception another great event enliven the historic centre: the Christmas CioccoVisciola. It is a festival dedicated both to chocolate and visciolata with exhibitors of high quality chocolate products, Christmas pastries, Visciolata and many street shows to entertain the visitors. In the month of August local organisations organise the Medieval evening event, with taverns set up according to the style of that period, parades, battles, scenes of medieval life and travelling shows.
Wunderschöne Aussicht, das Haus war angenehm kühl und hatte einen tollen Pool.
Nice house for two families. Air condition upstairs, and cool all over. Clean facilities, also by the pool. Nice bakery and local shop close by. We enjoyed our stay! Car is a must.

We have just had a spectacular week staying at Casale Lucy. The location of the villa is stunning with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Peaceful and quiet, just what we were looking for. The pool is superb, and being 10m in length it meant we could actually swim rather than just splash around. The villa is well-located for all sorts of Le Marche gems including the Frasassi Caves, the Furlo Gorge and Urbino. There are so many stunning walled towns in easy striking distance. We ate out locally in Pergola and Sassoferrato and visited a vineyard near Corinaldo for a very special wine and olive oil tasting. In terms of the accommodation itself, it was once two separate apartments so would suit two families well – it means you are able to have space to yourselves as well as come together outside for communal eating. The villa was well-equipped and the barbecue was great. The sunsets were spectacular. We are rather smitten with Le Marche and will definitely be back!
