ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES – Villa del Duca is a private villa with pool in Le Marche just a few kilometers from Urbania, a charming town renowned for its majolica production. The villa is immersed in the countryside in a panoramic position and offers an infinity pool. Inside the furnishings give a touch of modernity highlighting the typical finishes of Le Marche farmhouse. Guests can benefit of equipped areas for al fresco dining, enjoying the natural beauty of the area.
The villa is on the first floor accessible via an external staircase and is set on two levels. The first floor consists of a large living room-kitchen with fireplace, bathroom with shower, two double bedrooms with single bed, a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, a bathroom with shower. On the mezzanine floor there is an area with a French sofa bed, a bedroom with two single beds and a toilet. An additional folding bed can be added upon request in the living room. A toilet is present in the pool area.

The National Festival of Befana in Urbania is one of the most popular events of this kind in Le Marche and Italy. During the days before Epiphany, the historic center of the city is enlivened by parades of befanas, shows, dances, food stands and the descent of the Befana from the Bell Tower at the end of each day. On the final day of the festival there’s an impressive fireworks display. In mid-September there is the food event Sagra del Crostolo, which is a local specialty based on flour, water, milk and lard, stuffed with cooked vegetables, meats and cheese. In the stands you can also taste Le Marche typical wines and craft beers. The event is accompanied by shows, music, games for children and a competition for the preparation of crostolo.

We have had the best time at villa del Duca and with Francesca who was most kind and hospitable She was also an excellent Cook that made us an authentic italien dinner twice. We certainly will come back again. Our grandchildren can’t wait to come back and see Francesca again. That was love at first sight

Prachtig verblijf! Proper huis! Lieve gastvrouw die heel gemakkelijk bereikbaar is mocht je vragen of problemen hebben. Als we toch 1 klein minpuntje mogen/ kunnen geven is dat er misschien iets te weinig wijn en cocktail glazen waren. Het huisje is voor Max 10 personen maar er zijn maar een 5-tal wijn glazen en 6 cocktail glazen. Voor de rest was het voor ons perfect!

Je opmerking is erg waardevol en we zullen de eigenaar van de woning hiervan op de hoogte stellen, zodat het glaswerk passend kan worden aangevuld in verhouding tot de maximale capaciteit van de accommodatie. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.
Francesca war immer erreichbar und da für uns. Schöne allein Lage, mit einem wundervollen Ausblick, Vorallendingen am Pool. Das Haus war sehr sauber und ordentlich, der Garten ist super schön angelegt. Wir können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen.
