PRIVATE STRUCTURE (RENT ONLY) – Casale San Francesco is a wonderful private villa with pool in Umbria, immersed in the beautiful countryside typical of this region. The accommodation gives the opportunity to spend peaceful journeys and go through tourist itineraries of great interest. Actually it is located at a close distance to renowned cities like Assisi – popular all over the world for its unique architectural beauty and for its patron S. Francesco – Perugia, Gubbio, Todi and Orvieto. This farmhouse is entirely made with stone and has been recently renovated in full respect of the old farmhouses’features of that area. The property, which is partially fenced-in, offers its guests an equipped porch to eat together or relax, a gazebo, a barbecue and a wood oven. It is surrounded by a beautiful park with a great swimming pool with Roman stairs, perfect to cool during hot summer days.
This farmhouse is on two levels. It is composed of a wide living room with fireplace, a kitchen with fireplace, two double bedrooms, one of which with en suite bathroom with shower, a bedroom with twin beds, bathroom with shower. A wide staircase leads to the upper floor which is composed of a wide living room with fire place, a kitchen, two double bedrooms, one of which with en suite bathroom with shower, a bedroom with twin beds and bathroom with shower. Extra sleeps are available upon request at additional charge.

Assisi offers many events throughout the years. In early May, it takes place the Calendimaggio, a reenactment of medieval life with parades, music, dancing and the famous battle between the two hamlets of the city. Starting from the last weekend of August (Thursday, Friday and Saturday), you can go back to the period when Assisi was divided into factions with the Palio of San Rufino, which ends in a shooting competition with the crossbow. The Cavalcata of Satriano is a horse ride held every first weekend of September: jockeys wearing past costumes retrace the journey that knights made till Nocera Umbra to take Saint Francis back to his home town to die. There’re many celebrations related to religious festivals, such as the Franciscan celebrations every 4th of October and the Festa del Voto on 22nd of June, in memory of the expulsion by St. Clare of the Saracens from Assisi.

Great house, beautiful setting! Tree generations of our family had a lovely holiday here. The house, garden and pool area allowed space for everyone, and for anyone wanting to explore the area it was in easy reach of many renaissance towns and cities. The property was very clean and well equipped and we particularly enjoyed the large terrace. We hope to come back again.
La mia vacanza al Casale S. Francesco è stata stupenda. La villa è veramente bella e rispecchia in tutto le foto pubblicate sul sito. È dotata di ogni comfort, super-accessoriata la cucina. La piscina, attrezzata con sdraio, tavolini, ombrelloni e doccia, affacciata sulle colline umbre , ti permette di passare giornate in assoluto relax. I padroni di casa sono persone squisite, gentilissime e disponibili. Così come lo staff dell’agenzia. Consiglio a tutti di rivolgervi alla Dream Holidays per le vostre vacanze.
Our stay has been great : the house was exactly how it was presented on the site and for two families with three children each it was big enough to have space. The kitchen was well furnished and everything was very clean. Simonetta came during the week end (we stayed two weeks) to change towels and sheets. She even provided towels for the swimming pool. And we had a wonderful welcoming cake and delicious pastries for sunday. Simonetta’s husband came every morning very early to watch out and clean the swimming pool without disturbing us, and was very friendly and helpful when needed.
Fraai, groot, sfeervol en zeer compleet huis. Landgoed met veel ruimte. Zeer schoon en persoonlijk verzorgd afgeleverd. Centrale, rustige ligging in natuurgebied en ten opzichte van steden in Umbrië . Attente en vriendelijke verhuurders. Alleen ‘s avonds was huis wat koel door het matige weer, maar de verwarming was effectief. Mooi zwembad. Paar kleine verbeteringen mogelijk zoals meer haken, gewone onderlakens in plaats van laken met een integraal zeiltje. Nog beter: dekbedden in plaats van dekens. Absolute aanrader. Goede prijs/kwaliteitverhouding.
