PRIVATE STRUCTURE (RENT ONLY) – Casale San Francesco is a wonderful private villa with pool in Umbria, immersed in the beautiful countryside typical of this region. The accommodation gives the opportunity to spend peaceful journeys and go through tourist itineraries of great interest. Actually it is located at a close distance to renowned cities like Assisi – popular all over the world for its unique architectural beauty and for its patron S. Francesco – Perugia, Gubbio, Todi and Orvieto. This farmhouse is entirely made with stone and has been recently renovated in full respect of the old farmhouses’features of that area. The property, which is partially fenced-in, offers its guests an equipped porch to eat together or relax, a gazebo, a barbecue and a wood oven. It is surrounded by a beautiful park with a great swimming pool with Roman stairs, perfect to cool during hot summer days.
This farmhouse is on two levels. It is composed of a wide living room with fireplace, a kitchen with fireplace, two double bedrooms, one of which with en suite bathroom with shower, a bedroom with twin beds, bathroom with shower. A wide staircase leads to the upper floor which is composed of a wide living room with fire place, a kitchen, two double bedrooms, one of which with en suite bathroom with shower, a bedroom with twin beds and bathroom with shower. Extra sleeps are available upon request at additional charge.

Assisi offers many events throughout the years. In early May, it takes place the Calendimaggio, a reenactment of medieval life with parades, music, dancing and the famous battle between the two hamlets of the city. Starting from the last weekend of August (Thursday, Friday and Saturday), you can go back to the period when Assisi was divided into factions with the Palio of San Rufino, which ends in a shooting competition with the crossbow. The Cavalcata of Satriano is a horse ride held every first weekend of September: jockeys wearing past costumes retrace the journey that knights made till Nocera Umbra to take Saint Francis back to his home town to die. There’re many celebrations related to religious festivals, such as the Franciscan celebrations every 4th of October and the Festa del Voto on 22nd of June, in memory of the expulsion by St. Clare of the Saracens from Assisi.
Perfect location with the view that everyone dreams of when they think of Umbria. Two wonderful old-style family kitchens which were equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need and a fabulous wood burning pizza oven with wood provided. Hosts were perfect- present enough to give us all the help and information we needed, but never impinging on our family time. A wonderfully calm place for a proper family holiday.

We had a fantastic stay at the Casale San Francesco. It had everything we could of wanted, spacious and comfy. The owner was very attentive and helped us to find our way around the area.
The pool was perfect and the kids had a great time splashing around, with the younger ones being able to play on the steps.
I’d highly recommend staying here.
É stata una bellissima settimana, immersi nella natura e con massima tranquillità. Nota positiva é la piscina che fa la differenza. Posizione favorevole per visitare luoghi ameni (Assisi, Spello, Gubbio, Montefalco, Perugia) e per passeggiate.
Tout était parfait. La maison est tout simplement magnifique et super confortable. Nous étions 7 super à l’aise avec de tres belles chambres des salons salle à manger magnifiques. Des salles de bain en nombre et tout l’équipement nécessaire pour cuisiner, faire du café à l’italienne. Merci mille fois à Gianmarco qui nous avait préparé un délicieux gâteau et apporté 2 bouteilles de vin à notre arrivée une très gentille attention et qui a été super réactif et très gentil toutes les fois que nous avons eu besoin de renseignements. Seuls bémols il y a un chenil ou une propriété avec beaucoup de chiens à proximité, ils font pas mal de bruit le soir. Aussi il faisait assez froid dans la région début avril, le chauffage étant en plus prévoyez un budget supplémentaire Assez important. Merci nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances en famille et pu visiter la région très facilement surtout Assise est tout près 5km donc tout à proximité
We had a very relaxing stay at the house, it has lots of room, amazing views, and not too far from the town, the children played in the pool. Great communication with Marco, lovely hosts, Marcos Dad brought us fresh cream cakes! We stayed for a week as we were there for a wedding, it was perfect for us, just what we needed .
