ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES – Villa Durante is a lovely private villa with pool in Le Marche region located a few km from the center of Cagli. Surrounded by green hills in a dominant position, this villa is the perfect solution for relaxing holidays. The property is completely fenced-in and offers its guests a large garden with a panoramic swimming pool. There is a porch with table and chairs ideal for al fresco dining. Upon request it is also possible to go on horseback excursions starting directly from the property.
The villa is on two floors both with direct access to the garden. On the ground floor there is a large hall overlooking the dining room, a living room with TV, a kitchen, a bathroom with bathtub, a double bedroom, a bedroom with French bed, a large double bedroom with single bed and a bathroom with shower, double bedroom and lovely mezzanine floor with two single beds. An internal staircase leads to the lower level where there is a large living room with TV and sofa, a bathroom with shower and laundry area.

Throughout the year Cagli is the setting of many courses, tasting in the beautiful historic buildings, theatre performances and special events relating to nature and food & wine traditions.
The Pipe festival born in 2000 has become an attractive and unmissable meeting for pipe smokers coming from all over Italy. You’ll find exhibitors, stands and international slow-smoking competitions! It usually takes place in late May. The most anticipated event is the historical Game of the Goose (Gioco dell’Oca o Palio storico) being held every year on the second Sunday of August through the streets of the historic centre. During the weekend there are Renaissance parades, flag wavers, fire shows, archers, crossbowmen and then on Sunday the classic game of the goose performed at the local Arena of Sant’Emidio. The four city quarters compete to win the iron goose, symbol of the Palio of Cagli. No shortage of taverns serving typical local dishes and dance till late at night. In the month of August, an evening entirely dedicated to music with the event Cagli delle Musiche. Among the streets, squares and characteristic corners of the historic center, live bands play different genres simultaneously creating a unique and suggestive atmosphere for the listeners. Meat lovers cannot miss the annual Barbecue party held in the town square in mid-June with food & wine stands and grilled meat, the unique protagonist of the event. Last but not least, the Good Friday Commemoration consisting of an evocative parade through the streets and squares of the town adorned for the occasion with fragrant flowers and petals.
Wir haben eine Woche in der Villa verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Man hat sehr viel Platz im Haus und auf dem Grundstück und sehr viel Ruhe. Der Pool war schön, aber schon etwas kalt zu der Zeit (Mitte September). Wir hatten zwei kleine Kinder dabei, weshalb wir an einigen Stellen aufpassen mussten, da nicht alles kindersicher ist, aber das hat trotzdem gut geklappt.

Im September sind die Temperaturen tagsüber oft noch recht hoch, aber am Abend kühlt es etwas ab – das kann die Wassertemperatur, besonders in den frühen Morgenstunden, beeinflussen. Wir waren 12 Nächte in der Villa Durante und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Der Check-in verlief super, obwohl wir deutlich zu früh waren, dafür noch einmal vielen Dank an den wirklich tollen Gastgeber! Das Haus bietet von einem Hügel einen sehr schönen Ausblick auf Cagli und die schöne Landschaft und man ist mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten im Ort sowie beim nächsten größeren Supermarkt und auf den Schnellstraßen. Das Haus ist sehr groß, wir waren zwei Familien mit insgesamt 9 Personen, es hätten noch mehr hier übernachten können. Es ist sehr schön eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet – jede Menge Geschirr, Küchenutensilien, Spülmittel, notwendige Gewürze, alles vorhanden und mehr Handtücher als wir benötigten. Die Kinder und Erwachsenen haben den grosszügigen Pool sehr genossen. Es gab eigentlich nichts negatives 🙂 Vielen Dank!

Wunderschöner Pool und schönes Anwesen. Alles sauber und in (sehr) gutem Zustand. Super Kommunikation und einfacher Check-In/Out. Leider wird man nachts regelmäßig von Hundegebell gestört und muss die Fenster schließen. Bei geschlossenen Fenstern merkt man das Fehlen einer Klimaanlage doch sehr. Die WLAN-Reichweite ist unterdurchschnittlich. Am Pool und in einigen Zimmern reicht die Signalstärke nicht aus. Alles im allem ein schöner Urlaub mit Wiederholungspotenzial.

We were a group of 11 people and we absolutely loved our stay at Villa Durante! The house has all the necessary amentities we needed. It was very clean, the pool and view was great. the equipment and gas stove, grill and pizza oven inspired to have dinner on the terrace. Very quiet and close enough to Cagli and some of the restaurants in the area. Many thanks to Barbara for the wonderful stay and support along the way!

A spasso per le Marche. Non è la prima volta che io e la mia famiglia soggiorniamo con DH Villas che è sinonimo di garanzia. Ogni volta affittiamo una villa ad uso esclusivo, così è stato anche questa volta, abbiamo affittato una Villa con piscina e parco privata a Cagli. La villa funzionale, curata, accessoriata e fruibile, l’assistenza disponibile, pronta, gentile e capace.
