ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES – Villa Durante is a lovely private villa with pool in Le Marche region located a few km from the center of Cagli. Surrounded by green hills in a dominant position, this villa is the perfect solution for relaxing holidays. The property is completely fenced-in and offers its guests a large garden with a panoramic swimming pool. There is a porch with table and chairs ideal for al fresco dining. Upon request it is also possible to go on horseback excursions starting directly from the property.
The villa is on two floors both with direct access to the garden. On the ground floor there is a large hall overlooking the dining room, a living room with TV, a kitchen, a bathroom with bathtub, a double bedroom, a bedroom with French bed, a large double bedroom with single bed and a bathroom with shower, double bedroom and lovely mezzanine floor with two single beds. An internal staircase leads to the lower level where there is a large living room with TV and sofa, a bathroom with shower and laundry area.

Throughout the year Cagli is the setting of many courses, tasting in the beautiful historic buildings, theatre performances and special events relating to nature and food & wine traditions.
The Pipe festival born in 2000 has become an attractive and unmissable meeting for pipe smokers coming from all over Italy. You’ll find exhibitors, stands and international slow-smoking competitions! It usually takes place in late May. The most anticipated event is the historical Game of the Goose (Gioco dell’Oca o Palio storico) being held every year on the second Sunday of August through the streets of the historic centre. During the weekend there are Renaissance parades, flag wavers, fire shows, archers, crossbowmen and then on Sunday the classic game of the goose performed at the local Arena of Sant’Emidio. The four city quarters compete to win the iron goose, symbol of the Palio of Cagli. No shortage of taverns serving typical local dishes and dance till late at night. In the month of August, an evening entirely dedicated to music with the event Cagli delle Musiche. Among the streets, squares and characteristic corners of the historic center, live bands play different genres simultaneously creating a unique and suggestive atmosphere for the listeners. Meat lovers cannot miss the annual Barbecue party held in the town square in mid-June with food & wine stands and grilled meat, the unique protagonist of the event. Last but not least, the Good Friday Commemoration consisting of an evocative parade through the streets and squares of the town adorned for the occasion with fragrant flowers and petals.
Villa molto bella, in un contesto di notevole impatto e ben posizionata per escursioni nell’interno ed al mare. Proprietari molto attenti e disponibili nel corso del soggiorno.

The villa, the garden and the swimming pool are perfectly maintained and contain everything you could wish for. In fact, it is an estate with lots of space around the villa. The owners also helped us tremendously when one of us had some medical problems.
The location close to Cagli allowed us to enjoy urban amenities and quickly visit various locations in the wider area. Hiking to the top of Cucco Mountain, for example, gives you one of the best views in the area and near the top you can even cool yourself in local caves.
In the trees along the river, downhill from the estate swimming pool, at least one pair of golden orioles nested. The large oaks next to the barn on the top of the hill are a lookout for buzzards and occasionally roe deer walk through the garden. So, although you are close to Cagli, nature is almost literally on your doorstep.
Unser Familie hat sich in der Villa Durante absolut wohlgefühlt. Der Empfang war schon sehr herzlich und wir haben von Francesca und Emma auch sehr gute Restaurants empfohlen bekommen. Als Gastgeschenk haben wir Nudeln, Wurst und Käse erhalten sowie ein Flasche Sekt.
Da kann man wirklich sagen: Ankommen und wohlfühlen!
Die Villa ist wirklich wie auf den Fotos, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und in einer absoluten Traumlage. Vom Pool und vom Garten aus ein herrlicher Blick auf das Städtchen Cagli. Das Städtchen Cagli ist mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar. Liegen, Liegestühle und Tische sind ebenso genügend vorhanden wie Sonnenschirme. Besonders schön, dass es auch eine Liegewiese mit Bäumen gibt.
Praktisch ist auch, dass sich vom Garten aus erreichbar eine zusätzliche Küche befindet mit einem großen Kühlschrank, so braucht man nicht einmal die Treppen hoch um Getränke oder Eis zu holen. Man hat überhaupt ums Haus mehrere Möglichkeiten es sich zum Essen oder Lesen bequem zu machen.
Sehr zu empfehlen und wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
Wir, 2 Erwachsene, 2 Jugendliche und Hund, haben 14 wundervolle Tage in der Villa verbracht. Die Bilder auf dem Profil der Villa entsprechen 1:1 dem Original! Es gibt einen Holzkohlegrill, elektronischen Pizzaofen und Smoker. Auf dem Grundstück befinden sich außerdem 2 Pferdekoppeln mit je zwei Pferden, Schweine und eine Kuh. Das Anwesen ist sehr weitläufig und komplett eingezäunt. Für Hundehalter ein Traum, wenn der Hund keinen Jagdinstinkt hat 🙂
Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, zurückhaltend und auf das Wohl der Gäste bedacht. Zum “Einzug” bekamen wir hausgemachte Nudeln, Wein, Wurst und Käse als Gastgeschenk.
Für einen ruhigen, privaten Urlaub sehr zu empfehlen. Absolute Alleinlage! Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert
La vacanza è stata bellissima ci siamo trovati benissimo. La casa è stupenda ricca di ogni comfort sia all interno che all esterno della casa. Un grazie particolare alla Signora Francesca che è sempre stata molto disponibile. Auguro veramente di cuore di fare sosta in questa villa.
