PRIVATE STRUCTURE (RENT ONLY) – Montegiorgio is a small town halfway between the Adriatic Sea and the Sibillini mountains and blends all the beauties of Le Marche region. Soft landscapes and expanses of olive trees frame a place rich in history and folklore. Here lies Casa Felice, a lovely villa with swimming pool overlooking the hills, that in its simplicity ensures its guests a holiday full of peace and nature. The well-kept garden, decorated with various relaxation corners and peach and cherry trees, is the perfect place to entertain children and let adults rest. A gazebo with spacious table and a brick barbecue offers the possibility of al fresco dining. A neat downhill path leads to the swimming pool, with solarium area equipped with comfortable loungers for relaxing in the sun. Real pride of the owners is a small vegetable garden, where tomato and courgette plants slowly grow during the summer. The property is fully fenced-in.
The villa is on three levels. The main entrance overlooks the kitchen, the beating heart of the house, with central island and direct access to the garden. A working fireplace and a spacious table create the ideal environment for spending joyful evenings even during the coldest seasons. Through a short corridor, which also leads to the service bathroom and the pantry, you reach the small living room with sofas and TV corner. The veranda, spacious and partially closed, it is furnished with a large table overlooking the garden and a welcoming lounge with various sofas and wicker armchairs. The upper floor is accessed via an internal steep staircase with narrow steps and consists of a double bedroom with single beds and private bathroom with shower, a double bedroom with single beds, a bathroom with bathtub and the master bedroom (equipped with air conditioning). With a private bathroom with shower and bathtub, this room also has a lovely terrace perfect to enjoy the red sunset over Le Marche hills. On the second floor there is a double bedroom (with air conditioning), a twin bedroom (with air conditioning) and a bathroom with shower and bathtub.

Montegiorgio is located in the province of Fermo, in Le Marche region at approximately 411 meters above sea level. It stands on a hill in the center of the Media Val Tenna in a dominant position. The panorama extends from the Adriatic Sea to the Sibillini mountains, from Mount Conero to the Gran Sasso. The historic center preserves the original medieval structure and is characterized by a triangular plan crossed by ancient and narrow alleys that converge in the central square, Piazza Matteotti. Near Montegiorgio there is an important racecourse, San Paolo in Piane. Here horse racing enthusiasts can really indulge themselves. The area also hosts numerous outlet stores: shoes, bags, clothing, furniture and other products made in Italy. For those who love trekking or cycling, the paths in the Sibillini Mountains are highly recommended. The traditional dishes of Montegiorgese cuisine are those typical of the Fermo area. During your stay you cannot miss the Ascolana olives, cremini (that is fried custard shaped in small squares) and the ciauscolo meatlof. Throughout the year numerous events and festivals enliven the city centre.
De omgeving is werkelijk prachtig. Het huis ligt op een heuvel met fenomenaal uitzicht. Er is voldoende ruimte in en rond het huis, een heerlijk buiten zwembad en meerdere plekjes om te zitten en te genieten. Voor gezelligheid buiten de deur moet je wel een stukje rijden. De ontvangst door Maja (host) was zeer hartelijk. We hebben gezellig met haar gekletst, zowel bij aankomst als vertrek. Het huis zelf is schoon en opgeruimd, maar is wat gedateerd (vooral de keuken en apparatuur zijn aan vervanging toe). Voor de airco moesten we apart bijbetalen. Mogelijk overheen gelezen, maar voor 4800 euro per week verwacht je dat dat er gewoon bij inzit. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding is wat ons betreft niet helemaal in balans, maar we hebben genoten van ons verblijf.

Wat betreft de airconditioning willen we graag benadrukken dat de extra kosten duidelijk vermeld staan in de beschrijving van de advertentie, zodat er vanaf het moment van boeken transparantie is. We begrijpen echter dat de verwachtingen anders kunnen zijn en het spijt ons als dit jullie beleving van de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding heeft beïnvloed. We waarderen jullie constructieve opmerkingen over de staat van de keuken en de apparatuur en zullen deze zeker doorgeven aan de eigenaren met het oog op mogelijke verbeteringen.
