PRIVATE STRUCTURE (RENT ONLY) – Villa Marilena is a finely furnished seaside house located in the higher historic side of the town of Praiano, in the beautiful Amalfi Coast. The structure has been recently renovated with great care and taste, using the typical local ceramics and colourful terracotta for the floors. The villa is characterised by a wide terrace with a breathtaking view over the horizon, towards Conca dei Marini and the peninsula of Cilento. Capri, Amalfi and Positanio are within easy reach with public transport; the nearest bus stop is within 2 minutes walk from the house. In the vicinity there are also restaurants, bar and shops of any kind. The house is at about 60 steps from the main road.

Layout

The property is on the fourth floor and set on two levels. On the ground floor there is a living room, a kitchen with dining room, a double bedroom with balcony overlooking the sea, bathroom with shower. From the living area you access the upper floor through an internal staircase, here there’s a double bedroom, a bedroom with twin beds and direct access to a back terrace with partial view of the sea, bathroom with shower.

In the enchanting setting of the Amalfi Coast, summer in Praiano is full of events linked to culture, tradition and territory. The most ancient celebration is the Luminaria di San Domenico which is held between the end of July and the beginning of August. For four days the terraces, windows, gardens, streets and all the houses of the town are lighted by fascinating wax lights, giving a unique atmosphere. The event ends with a procession and Holy Mass. From May to October, music and hiking lovers can take part in the event I suoni degli Dei (Sounds of the Gods). Each meeting includes a medium difficulty walking tour along the Sentiero degli Dei, one of the most famous itineraries in the world. Concerts take place in these enchanting locations with music performers of various kinds. Summer events also include entertainment and fun in the town squares both for children and their families with shows, folks music concerts and dances.
