Description
PRIVATE STRUCTURE (RENT ONLY) – Villa La Torre is a holiday house with private pool in Le Marche. Set in a pristine landscape, this old tower dating back to the end of the XIII cent. has been completely renovated by its owners, keeping its original rural charm. The property includes a lovely swimming pool and a well groomed garden, where trees offer a shaded area equipped with tables and chairs, to enjoy great moments of relaxation. The location is well known for the numberless small Medieval and Renaissance villages scattered throughout the surrounding valleys. The local cooking tradition centred on typical truffle specialities is absolutely worth trying.
Layout
The structure is built on three floors. On the ground floor you find a living room with fireplace and double sofa bed and a kitchen. From the living room a winding staircase leads upstairs, where you can find a double bedroom with extra single bed, a small private bathroom with shower. From the kitchen a stairway leads downstairs where you can find a room with three single beds, a bathroom with shower and a laundry area.
* Pets are allowed up to 20 kg weight or alternatively outside the structure with proper kennels

Events
Acqualagna is known as the Capital of fresh truffle all year long. Acqualagna hosts three different fairs throughout the year: that of Black Truffle in February, that of Black Summer Truffle in August and finally, the most important one dedicated to White Truffle, which takes place since 1965 between the end of October and the first three weekends of November (Saturday and Sunday). The main square of the town is set up with stands selling fresh truffes, fresh and dried mushrooms, truffle sauces and oils. There are also food and drink specialties from all over Italy, handicrafts and stands to taste dishes based on truffle.

Review of Villa la Torre 8
Top location and comfortable vacation

Review of Villa la Torre 8
The house sits on a hill, providing a beatiful view over the surrounding landscape. The pool is perfect for refreshing on hot summer days. The well renovated house commes with all the neccessary equipment. Sandro provides the guests with perfect information for all possible sites and events. We especially liked the breakfast and dinner situated outside with perfect view and fantastic moments of relaxation.
Villa with exceptional view.

Review of Villa la Torre 8
The villa is a renovated old guards tower with three levels. The lower level sleeping room is really cool even in hot summer. We had a nice stay even during the very hot and dry period.
The villa really has an exceptionally view. It lies on the plateau on the very top of the hill and you can see the nice mountains/hills in every directions. There is another villa very close but at lower level so that you can’t see anybody at all from there. You are really on yourself.
The owner is extremely helpful and supportive. We good a lot of good recommendations for restaurants and he helped us multiple times to reserve tables. We also got throughtout our stay a lot of other recommendations/tips what we could do. Thank you very much Sandro.
Had a lovely stay at the villa

Had a lovely stay at the villa. The pool was lovely and views spectacular. Communication with the host was really easy, including check in and check out. Really useful having a fully equipped kitchen for once! Would highly recommend.

Review of Villa la Torre 8
We loved this property. It is a one of a kind in a fabulous location with everything you might need. Sandro very kindly ‘checked us in’ and gave us lots of pointers of places to visit and places to eat nearby. The beds were super comfortable and we slept like little logs every night. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet spot with spectacular views.

Review of Villa la Torre 8

Review of Villa la Torre 8

Review of Villa la Torre 8
We had a very nice time. Despite of our very late arrival on the hill, almost midnight, we had a very nice welcoming, the owners were very friendly and told us everything we needed about the house. The house was very clean and proper. The owners even left some food en fruit for us. The house is very nice, has a lovely very well equiped kitchen and very nice sleeping rooms with mosquito nets. We could use the washing machine as well.
The garden is large and very nice, the view is wonderful even as the surrounding and the lovely places we visited in the neighbourhoud; Urbino, Urbania, Aqualagna, San Marino, the very nice beaches at Fano and.Senigalia.
The swimming pool is very nice and the view from the pool is beautiful. We loved to stay at the pool with the very nice chairs. There are places to sit in the shadow everywere in the large garden. The owners and the swimmingpool keeper are very friendly. We surely hope to come again.

Review of Villa la Torre 8
We spent 2 weeks in early September in Villa La Torre. The villa is near Abbadia di Naro about 6km out of Aqualagna. The directions were excellent and we found it without any problems, but I would not like to try finding it in the dark. The access road is steep and the last section is a white road with an uneven surface. We were welcomed by Sandro on our arrival, who showed us round and left a few groceries for us including bread and a bottle of local wine! As we got to the villa we saw the view for the first time and we were amazed. There is a view down the valley in both directions and out as far as just the very top of Monte Nerone (1500m). The villa had all the equipment we needed and more for our stay – whatever your ambitions for cooking, you will find what you need. There is a barbecue outside with a lot of small pieces of wood to use on it as well. The bed upstairs was very comfortable, we did not use the bedroom downstairs. There is a small en-suite shower room upstairs and a much bigger bathroom downstairs, both clean and properly equipped. Outside there are extensive gardens with several places to sit and a couple of tables to eat on. There were several comfortable sunloungers and we also used one of the comfortable hammocks. The pool is small but nice enough for a cooling dip on hot days and has the same fantastic views as the rest of the property. The wi-fi worked most of the time and was pretty quick. We didn’t turn on the TV. The furniture is a mix of old and new – there is not a lot of storage space for clothes in the top bedroom but there is plenty elsewhere. There are several places of interest within easy reach (Urbino is a must; also Cagli, Urbania, Fossombrone, the Gola di Furlo, Fano, etc.) with the nearest supermarket on the edge of Aqualagna about 6-7 km away. What is good: this is an interesting property dating back to the 12th Century with everything you need for your stay. The views are fantastic and it is very quiet. There are very pleasant gardens and a small plunge pool. It was very clean with all the cleaning equipment supplied. What is not so good: Not suitable for people with mobility problems, lots of steep stairs. You need to drive to get anywhere including shopping for basics (though I did use one of the bikes available – be warned though, the hill back up is incredibly challenging!) The photos on the website do not really do justice either to the interior or to the views. That’s it, if you are looking for a quiet, interesting villa in a beautiful part of Marche, you will not be disappointed.
