PRIVATE STRUCTURE (RENT ONLY) – Villa Gea is a modern private villa with swimming pool in Le Marche region, just 12 km far from Urbino, one of the most important centers of Italian Renaissance and declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO. Built in 2023, the villa has a contemporary, linear style, with essential spaces but equipped with all comforts. Plunged in the greenery and tranquility of Le Marche countryside, this villa is the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday, enjoying the beautiful salt water infinity pool overlooking the surrounding landscape. The building consists of two units on three levels, both for the exclusive use of the guest, which makes it perfect for two families who want to spend the holidays together while keeping their privacy. A dominant feature of the interiors is the large windows, which in addition to making the spaces bright, give a natural continuation with the outdoor landscape. Guests have access to two large porches, equipped with tables, chairs and sofas to have al fresco dinings and enjoy pleasant moments in company. In addition, there is a barbecue area and a table tennis for funny challenges. A few steps from the villa there is a lovely farmhouse where you can taste the typical local cuisine and go horseback riding, even with children. The proximity to the town center with the main services and sports facilities including padel, tennis courts and riding school make this property suitable for every type of guest.
The property consists of two units on three levels. On the ground floor there is a kitchen with dining area and direct access to the garden and porch, a bathroom with shower and a double bedroom. An internal staircase leads to the first floor consisting of a living room with sofa bed, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The upper mezzanine floor consists of a double bedroom (beds can be divided as twin bedroom upon request) overlooking the living room on the lower floor. The other unit, always set on three floors, consists of a kitchen with dining area and direct access to the garden and porch, a bathroom with shower. On the first floor there is an open space area with two single beds (which can be joined as double bed upon request), a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The upper mezzanine floor consists of a double bedroom overlooking the open space area with the two single beds. All property rooms (except bathrooms) are equipped with air conditioning. Guests can park their cars inside the property near the entrance.

Fermignano plays host to several events every year, most notably the Palio of the Frog, a historical tournament dating back to XVII century and taking place on the first Sunday after Easter. Frogs are the undisputed stars of the festival and have to face a run of about 170 metres aboard a wheelbarrow guided by a knight. The race is preceeded by a parade with local people wearing beautiful costumes. During the event there are also markets, street performers, firework displays and tastings of typical products. By the end of the summer, on the first Sunday of September the Grand Prix of 19th century Penny Farthing takes place. Because of its uniqueness, this event is known throughout Italy and abroad. It is a race between 7 town districts that compete along a 3 km path riding beautiful old bicycles. In addition to the race, the town is enlivened by shows, exhibitions, parades, food stands and markets.
Villa Gea, una struttura nuova, inaugurata nel 2023, tutt’oggi pari al nuovo, ampia metratura suddivisa in due appartamenti pressoché gemelli arredati e corredati di tutto punto, lo stile sobrio e contemporaneo. Ideale per una grande famiglia come la nostra, noi adulti abbiamo occupato un appartamento e goduto la nostra privacy, bimbi e genitori nell’altro appartamento. Ciascuno ha potuto conservare come a casa i propri spazi e le proprie abitudini. Sono architetto e gestisco personalmente due strutture ricettive, credo di poter asserire che la villa è stata ideata, progettata e costruita con cognizione di causa utilizzando tecniche e soluzioni moderne, materiali e finiture di pregio. La gestione è curata anch’essa in modo professionale e attento. Per chi desidera vivere una vacanza in pieno relax direi che questa è la soluzione ottimale. Dimenticavo di segnalare che a pochi passi la proprietà gestisce un agriturismo eccellente, il ristorante panoramico è carino il menù ottimo.

On arrival, we were a bit worried because the access road was a track 2.5 km long and were not sure if we were right. But once we got to the acccomodation, fantastic view, quite, loads of space. The access road was fun to drive after we knew where we were. The pool is fantastic, BBQ great, WLAN availability was always there. Table tennis was used a lot. And the owners have a restaurant just up the road which we can definately reccomend, wonderful and friendly people.

The house is in a countryside location and as for most private secluded villas in Italy the road might seem long the first times you drive, but then it is very fast as you get used to it.
