ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES – Villa Fiore is a private villa with pool in Umbria located just 2km from the historic center of Spello. This beautiful medieval village is popular for Infiorate, a festive time during which streets are decorated with flower carpets. The villa is located in a quiet setting and allows to easily reach the most important sight places of Umbria such as Assisi, Perugia, Spoleto, Montefalco and Bevagna. The property is fully fenced and offers a lovely swimming pool surrounded by a large well-kept garden.

Layout

The villa is on two levels. The ground floor consists of an open space with living area and kitchen, a double bedroom and two twin bedrooms (beds can be joined in one room), bathroom with shower and bathroom with bathtub. An external staircase leads to a basement with kitchen, double sofa bed and toilet.

Events

Spello is considered as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy in the valley of Umbria and is popular for its Infiorate, floral compositions created as carpets and paintings every year on the occasion of Corpus Domini between May and June. It happens on the night before the religious festival when the flower makers create these works of art, in an atmosphere of great joy and involvement. Over the years, the Infiorata has become a competition and on Sunday morning, before the procession, a jury judges and awards the best infiorata. During the rest of the year, a walk through the alleys of the village offers colorful and romantic views, with numerous panoramic views. Spello is also known as the “city of oil“, the olive trees that grow here and in the surrounding area provide one of the best extra virgin olive oils in the world, which is always present in the typical local dishes.
