PRIVATE STRUCTURE (RENT ONLY) – Villa Doriana is a lovely private villa with pool in Le Marche set on a hill position giving a breathtaking view over the surrounding valley. Its position is ideal to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside, being at a convenient driving distance from renowned tourist attractions such as Urbino, Pesaro, Gubbio and the Frasassi Caves. The structure has been finely renovated keeping its old rural appeal and is surrounded by a private well groomed garden with comfortable outdoor living areas, such as a wide porch and brick barbecue area with wood oven. Being located a few km from the town center of Acqualagna, a popular destination for food and wine tours, you can experience firsthand a real truffle hunting with experts and the taste of Le Marche traditional recipes.
Layout
The villa is set on two levels. The ground floor is composed of a wide kitchen with dining area (with air-conditioning) and direct exit to the outside, living room with fireplace (with air-conditioning), bathroom with shower and bath anteroom with washing machine, second living room with direct extit to the porch and staircase to the upper floor. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, a bedroom with bunk beds and a bathroom with shower.

Events
Acqualagna is known as the Capital of fresh truffle all year long. Acqualagna hosts three different fairs throughout the year: that of Black Truffle in February, that of Black Summer Truffle in August and finally, the most important one dedicated to White Truffle, which takes place since 1965 between the end of October and the first three weekends of November (Saturday and Sunday). The main square of the town is set up with stands selling fresh truffes, fresh and dried mushrooms, truffle sauces and oils. There are also food and drink specialties from all over Italy, handicrafts and stands to taste dishes based on truffle.

A beautiful, perfectly appointed, quite place to unwind and relax.
Views from the flowering garden, terrace and outdoor kitchen are awe-inspiring.
Huge sage, thyme & lavender plants scent the mornings.
Lovely hosts sharing their upgraded traditional farmhouse with all the modern amenities.
Plunge pool is perfect for kids and adults to cool down.
Area is amazing, lush and green, even mid-summer.
The farm-road (gravel track) to Cagli is fun, and worth it.
Great job from DH Villas too, very responsive.

Very nice house with amazing view! Doriana and Giuseppe, the owners, are very hospitable and helpful and together with DH villas they are a really super host! We stayed with our family and had a wonderful week, and the best of all, we were invited to Doriana and Giuseppe for an superb Italian alfresco dinner! 10 of 10!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Zeit genossen. Die letzten 2-3 km der Fahrt waren auf Schotter-Straßen und zum Teil etwas steiler/enger, aber der Ausblick und der Stil des Hauses waren toll – für Urlauber die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit suchen eine ideale Unterkunft!!

Review of Villa Doriana 6
Wir waren im Sommer zwei Wochen in der Villa Doriana und haben die Zeit unwahrscheinlich genossen: Die Ruhe weit ab in Mitten der Natur, der umwerfende Blick über das Tal mit jeden Abend wechselnden Farben bei den Sonnenuntergängen. Für Spaziergänge und Wanderungen direkt vom Haus aus bestens geeignet, ebenso für Ausflüge zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der nördlichen Marken. Dazu superfreundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, die uns am Holzofen lokale Gerichte gezeigt und mit und für uns gekocht haben und die sogar eine Trüffelsuche für uns organisiert haben.
Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist vorbildlich gut (auch mit für die Bedürfnisse von Jugendlichen tauglichem WLAN bei ordentlicher Bandbreite ;-).
Vielen Dank für diese erholsame und entspannte Zeit!

We wanted a quite place for our family to calm down an relax. We found a beautiful place with wondeful hosts. Many thanks to Doriana and Peppe… The view from the garden is awesome and the house is a traditional landhouse which was rebuild in early 2000s… We definitly would book it again. The road to the house is a little bit offroad, but worth it… The agency did a great job, too. They answered my questions within a few hours…
