PRIVATE STRUCTURE (RENT ONLY) – Villa Colombaia is a villa with private pool in Le Marche at about 400 meters above sea level. This stone country house overlooks the mountains of Le Marche hinterland, offering breathtaking views over the valley. This farmhouse still keeps the atmosphere of a family home, offering all comforts and calm for a reinvigorating stay in deep contact with nature and local traditions of nearby towns and villages rich in history and art. The property is surrounded by a large garden with many outdoor living areas with tables and chairs. In addition, at the guests’disposal a porch with table and wooden seats and a panoramic irregularly shaped pool.
Great solution for two families as it gives the possibility to rent together a property while keeping one’s privacy, being the villa divided into two completely separate units. The main apartment has a kitchen with fireplace, a large living room (with the possibility to add an extra bed), a double bedroom with small toilet, a double bedroom, bathroom with shower. The second apartment, smaller than the main one, is composed of a living room with double sofa bed, a kitchen, an utility room, bedroom with double bed and French bed, a bathroom with shower. In the pool area is also present a bathroom with shower and washing machine, functional when spending your time in this part of the property.

Acqualagna is known as the Capital of fresh truffle all year long. Acqualagna hosts three different fairs throughout the year: that of Black Truffle in February, that of Black Summer Truffle in August and finally, the most important one dedicated to White Truffle, which takes place since 1965 between the end of October and the first three weekends of November (Saturday and Sunday). The main square of the town is set up with stands selling fresh truffes, fresh and dried mushrooms, truffle sauces and oils. There are also food and drink specialties from all over Italy, handicrafts and stands to taste dishes based on truffle.
We stayed in the villa in september. unfortunatley we didnt have the weather but the villa was amazing. would highly recommend it. looking to book again next year.

The property is in accordance with what can be expected from the description and photo’s on the website. Positive points: view from the pool, quiet atmosfhere, roominess, fruit trees, mosquito screens in most windows, sun beds, kindness and service of owner. Worth to mention is the swift action from the owner to make wifi internet access available, after it became clear that internet access with the provided USB stick was not working.
