ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES – At only 10 km from the Adriatic Coast, Villa Candelara is a beautiful private villa with pool located in Le Marche region. Its combines the peace and calm of a country house with the comfort of being close to the seaside city of Pesaro, rich in events and shows, including the famous Rossini Opera Festival. The property is entirely fenced-in and surrounded by a lovely garden with around 30 olive trees, providing the highest privacy during the stay. Guests can benefit of a porch furnished with table, chairs and outdoor sofas to enjoy relaxing moments and of a nice swimming pool.
The villa is on different levels and has been furnished by its owners in simple but functional style, as with most beach houses. On the ground floor there is a living room and a wide kitchen with fireplace as decoration only, giving direct access to the porch. Going down a few steps there’s the sleeping area, composed of a double bedroom with small balcony, a double bedroom with single bed and balcony, a twin bedroom, a small bedroom with single bed and a large bathroom with bath. Through a staircase from the living room you reach the upper floor with a large double bedroom where it’s possible to add an extra single bed, a bedroom with three single beds and a bathroom with shower. Going up few stairs there is a wide relaxing area with sofas and tv corner. The basement of the villa is composed of a laundry area and a bathroom with shower.

The history of Candelara is linked to candles after which this town is named. In the last weekends of November till the first weekend of December, in the occasion of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception the town hosts the event Candles in Candelara, the first market in Italy dedicated to candles, rich in shows, entertainment and specialties of the local cuisine. The market takes place in the whole centre of this charming borgo and out of its walls with more than sixty wooden houses where handicrafts of all kinds are exposed. Peak of the event is the cut of artificial lighting. There are two switching off, the first at 17,30 and the second at 18,30, each one lasting 15 minutes. From Candelara you can easily reach the cities of Pesaro and Fano, rich in events and festivals.
Villa Candelara offers good value for money: Lots of space, a pool and a great view. Urbino and Pesaro/ Fano nearby. The house is located in an agricultural surroundings. That makes it less interesting for hiking/ sport activities.
Villa Candelara è perfetta per una vacanza in famiglia, soprattutto se ci sono bambini.
La piscina rimane medio bassa, non ci sono pericoli in quanto la villa è completamente recintata, c’è anche un gioco per bambini installato nel giardino.
C’è tutto quello che ci si aspetta di trovare in una proprietà locata da DH VILLAS (unica vera mancanza: il microonde) e gli animali sono ammessi (il nostro cane ha molto apprezzato il giardino). Si evidenzia come punto di forza la grande zona porticata che permetteva di mangiare all’esterno anche nelle giornate più calde.
Unica nota negativa il terzo bagno raggiungibile solamente con una ripida scala senza corrimano praticamente inutilizzabile nella vita quotidiana se non per la doccia. Di fatto ci siamo ritrovati a sfruttare 2 bagni in 7, con qualche piccolo disservizio. Avrebbe senso, questo bagno, se fosse accessibile dall’esterno. Lo descriverei meglio, soprattutto per chi, al posto di bambini, ha anziani al seguito incapacitati a fare troppe scale.
Il borghetto di Candelara è assolutamente da visitare, è una chicca. I dintorni sono perfetti sia per chi desidera il mare, sia per chi ama la tranquillità della campagna.

Sono lieta che nel complesso abbiate gradito sia la villa che la zona; per quanto riguarda gli aspetti evidenziati, l’agenzia cerca sempre di essere il più possibile precisa ed attenta con le descrizioni. Il microonde attualmente non è infatti in elenco dotazioni, ma faremo senz’altro presente ai proprietari questo suo suggerimento. Circa gli spazi della villa, cerchiamo di riportarli in maniera più esaustiva e fedele possibile tramite descrizioni ma in caso di dubbi o proprie esigenze particolari, il nostro staff è pronto a fornire supporto e chiarimenti ante prenotazione.
