PRIVATE STRUCTURE (RENT ONLY) – Casa Altea is a seaside house located in the Amalfi coast. This property has been recenly renovated and offers two beautiful terraces with sea view. Set in a central position, at only 1 km from the famous beaches of Praiano, this accommodation is exactly what you need to live a full experience in the Amalfi Coast, visiting the nearby popular tourist destinations such as Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento, Capri and Ischia. The access path to the property is through 50 steps approximately. At the guests’disposal a private car park at few metres, available at additional fee.

Layout

The house consists of two apartments of about 80 square metres each, set on two different levels but linked through an external staircase of about 15 steps. On the ground floor there is the first apartment composed of a living room with double sofa bed, kitchen, two double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms – one with shower and the other one with bath, toilet, small closet with washing machine, sea view terrace at the entrance. On the upper floor there’s the second apartment composed of a living room, kitchen, small closet with washing machine, double bedroom, twin bedroom with toilet, bathroom with shower, sea view terrace at the entrance.

In the enchanting setting of the Amalfi Coast, summer in Praiano is full of events linked to culture, tradition and territory. The most ancient celebration is the Luminaria di San Domenico which is held between the end of July and the beginning of August. For four days the terraces, windows, gardens, streets and all the houses of the town are lighted by fascinating wax lights, giving a unique atmosphere. The event ends with a procession and Holy Mass. From May to October, music and hiking lovers can take part in the event I suoni degli Dei (Sounds of the Gods). Each meeting includes a medium difficulty walking tour along the Sentiero degli Dei, one of the most famous itineraries in the world. Concerts take place in these enchanting locations with music performers of various kinds. Summer events also include entertainment and fun in the town squares both for children and their families with shows, folks music concerts and dances.
